Amer fort is also known as Amber fort. It is 11 Km. away from the city Jaipur. It was built by Maharaja Man Singh in the year 1592.The fort is big enough and was considered as one of the main residences of Rajput rulers. It is one amongst the most popular tourist spots which sees over five thousand visitors everyday. It is included into the UNESCO’s world heritage site list as part of the Hill fort of Rajasthan.
Jantar Mantar is the largest stone observatory in the world and is situated near the city palace in Jaipur. It is also included in the UNESCO’s list of World heritage sites. It was built by Raja Sawai Jay Singh in the year 1727-33.The main objective of this building was to study and gather information about space and time. The other thing that makes it unique is the world’s largest sundial which is situated here.
Hawa Mahal is the other tourist spot in Jaipur which is situated in the main road of the city and was built by Maharaja Sawai Pratap Singh in 1799.It is made of Pink and Red sandstone and is based on five floors each of which has unique decorated chambers.
City Palace Jaipur
It is also one amongst the most famous tourist attractions of Jaipur. It is situated in the old part of Jaipur city and was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh during 1723-32.It has three gates out of which two the Virenda pol and the Udai pol are opened to the public.
Nahargarh fort is, one amongst the most popular tourist attractions of Jaipur. This fort was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II in the year 1734.In ancient times there were ladies quarters by the name of Zenana and there was also mardana mahal constructed for the royal men in its complex. In Nahargarh fort there is a Nahargarh biological park, which is the asylum for animals like lions, tigers and the leopards.

Pink city in Jaipur is declared a UNESCO’s world heritage site. It refers to the old walled city built by Maharaja Jai Singh II in the year 1727.It is known as Pink city because it is built of sandstone which reflects Pink colour during daytime.
